I think that Team Slovakia could offer some surprises at the Olympics--well not on the level of a Gold Medal upset, but they could cause problems for some of the better teams.
With both Lubomir Visnovsky and Zdeno Chara as defensemen, they have some high-end talent at the blueline.
Up front, there's Marian Hossa of course along with Marian Gaborik--that's some pretty high-end skill...
Then there's some gritty role players like Michal Handzus. We haven't seen Ziggy Palffy in North America for a long time, but he used to be quite the player back in the day.
Halak and Budaj aren't an amazing goaltending tandem, but if either finds their 'A' game, they could be adequate for the Olympics.
